Coastal Event (Yellow)
From early Wednesday morning locally moderate risk of icing on vessels in exposed coast- and fjordareas east of Nordkapp.
Rapid ice accumulation on a small boat may cause it to lose its stability, tip over and sink. For ships the issue is more directed towards slippery decks, handrailing, ladders, iced down safety boats and safety equipment. Ice accumulation may also damage radio communication if the antennas are freezing. Moderate ice accumulation on the bow/bridge of the ship.

Remove ice from the boat.

Early tuesday morning northeasterly temporary near gale force 7.
Large waves. High risk of dangerous situations when in a small boat at sea. Sea heaps up. Moderate amounts of airborne spray.

It is not recommended to be at sea in a small boat.

Moderate waves. Risk of dangerous situations when in a small boat at sea. High waves whose crests sometimes roll over. Airborne spray may reduce visibility.
